There is something intrinsic about painting, the canvas and I become one entity, simultaneously working to present a sensation that evokes people. I am inspired by Abstract Expressionism and Impressionism movements but not limited specifically to those.
I am influenced by the phenomena of the physical world; the innate and essential qualities of nature that include landscapes, plants, animals and humanity. Each expands with greater meaning and opportunity to explore those meanings by visual representations.
I think of my paintings as fragments and overtime a structure is formed bringing clarity and purpose to the work . A fragment is more intriguing and the perspective and aesthetic of what it once was; everything has a beginning and an end; therefore my process is to understand the phenomena called life.
